What are some things I can do to improve my English score on ACT?

I came to America when I was 9 and barely knew English. Now I speak english well and have the American accent (although the accent of my other languages are gone). Right now I am going to be a high school senior and still have to take my big tests. What are some things I could do to improve my english score? I always miss 2-3 questions on each section, and I have taken like 4 practice tests and seen why my answers were wrong.

PS. in the above parenthesis part is it "although the accent" or is there an "s" after accent?

Take a ACT prep course, there are a lot of ways to answer the questions by using strategies they teach. Reading a lot of books can help as well, but that takes a much longer time to work :)
