What are some things I can do to stretch my back to make it more arched?

I want to be a contortionist and i need to get more of an arch in my back to do most of the things they do. How can i do this? And my legs too.

  1. Well, you can't make your back arch more, but you can make it more flexible. Trust me, arched backs are over-rated anyway.

    Anyway, do a bunch of back bends, and pilates, and stretches that require you to have you face next to your knees, trying to keep your back perfectly straight.


  2. pilates...the exercise routines make you long and lean, helping you to develop a strong core, strong legs, and a dancer's body.

  3. A good way to stretch your back is to:

    1: Lie on your stomach

    2. Grab one of your ankles from the outside

    3. Pull your leg straight up and over your head as far as possible, making sure it is still in line with your hips

    4. Repeat with other leg

    Also, do your bridge over a chair or something tall and hold it there.
