What are some things I may want to take with me to Australia (fr US)...I've heard there is no ranch dressing!

Are there any other little surprises I should be prepared for? I've read a million guides and such but they usually don't mention the details!

Do you all have good internet connections?

I don't know.

Just a general question on what details are different.

Yes, we do have ranch dressing and a zillion others as well.

Why not try something in OZ that you have not tried before, like hamburgers with beetroot - no, you won't find them at McDonalds.

It depends on what you are used to in US; if you live inland, you will probably love our seafood.

Don't just visit the same places that you have where you live. Try something different - it's part of the experience of travelling.

Make sure you bring a power adapter - your power points have different plugs.

I'm pretty sure we have ranch dressing here in Australia. You should be aware you need to declare any food you bring into Australia. If you don't you risk getting a big fine. As far as I'm aware Internet is as good in Australia as it is in the USA. You will probably not find too many differences between the USA and Australia the main one is we drive on the other side of the road

We have ranch dressing.. We have it at subway.. so I'm guessing we do have it in the shops...
