Question:

What are some things I should keep in mind when buying a Jetski?

any advice? I dont like the older ones I prefer the 2003-current Sea-doos, Kawasakis and would rather not pay $9000+

  1. The 4-stroke engines are sooooooo much better than the old 2-strokes.  They're more fuel efficient, lower maintenance, and for our eco-friendly friends, they are much better for the environment and quieter.  All-around, better for everyone.  As far as the brand or model, they are all pretty much equivalent.  Kawasaki, Sea Doo, they all pretty much have the same stuff these days.  Kind-of like the difference between a Ford and a Chevy.  They each have their own little high points and low points, but not much difference aside from brand preference.  I would recommend finding a dealership that would let you test them out or, more practically, find somewhere that rents them so you can take them for a spin and see what you want out of a personal water craft. (they are generically refered to as PWC's)
