What are some things a ten year old should be able to decide for themselves?

Just interested in different oppinions and trying to finish a paper for child psych. class. Thanks for your help =)

when to do homework and chores (not if, obviously);

what to wear (with a parental veto for completely inappropriate items but with the child making the choice as long as it's not something really meriting a veto);

who their friends are;

who to invite to a birthday party or playdate;

how to spend their free time (within reason);

etc.

Depends on the parents. (How he/she was raised.)

Well I'm only half joking.  I think 10 is still very young and while she should be able to voice opinions and wishes on clothes and activities and classes, etc, most things should still be cleared by the parents.
