The funniest one i heard was, a player looked for some applause and this guy yelled out "last time you got a clap you were pissing razor blades"

...The things people Yell about at the footy , ....I don't think is totally relevant..   Footy comes at the end of the week , people have many built up emotions and anxieties from their work and general family situations and football become the "release".  If Guys (footy supporters)as you call them and bye the way , gals are just as bad ......  walked down a street, or through a supermarket for example and started yelling similar chants to being  at a footy match, they would most likely be taken into custody for being of unsound mind, disturbing the peace or abuse,or for all of the above!       Football is about  an individuals emotion and passion for the game, and the team they support,  and while an umpire is probably the ONE human speci who, actually has studied a rule book, he is constantly reminded that he knows nothing by way of comments like....Ah Bullshit umpire !    then within seconds when a similar decision is payed in favour of the hostile supporters team,  he will then abuse the umpire with a comment like "about time you maggot"......so ya see its nothing specific, just people's weekly RELEASE!
