What are some things i can do with my 8 yr old to keep her occupied

okay so my daughter comes in and eats does her homework then wants to sit in front of the t.v. for hours. And i do not approve. So what can I do to keep her occupied? so that she won't want to sit and watch t.v. so much. she doesn't like the park and she doesn't like to play with dolls or color so what can we do?????

Have you tried just taking a nice walk, and letting her talk to you about her school day? Or, maybe you could run around with her, or take bike rides. :]

invite her friend over

To talk to her how was school or ask her what does she wnt to do instead of watching TV. Take her to the museum or tell her what does she like besides TV.
