What are some things i could do to take care of my new surfboard?

i just bought a surfboard and i want to keep it for as long as possible. what are some steps to keep it new?

dont let it hit rocks, re-wax it every once and a while. keep it inside when not being used

Freshwater rinse after use, keep it well waxed, avoid wipeouts, keep it stored out of the sun and weather when not in use.

Put a nice coat of s*x wax on it.

Get a bag for it. Keep it in the bag and out of the sun. Store it in the bag in the garage. Enjoy.
