  1. your freshman year is the only year colleges really dont give a hoot about. use it to have fun while you have room to f*** around.

  2. DONT MESS UP ALWAYS DO GOOD BY YOUR Sr YEAR YOU CAN RELAX A LIL I PPL LEARN THAT THE HARD WAY WHEN THEY GO TO COLLAGE

  3. I was scared just like you! But it'll be OK! Within 3 or 4 days you''' be used to it! I promise!

Just be confident and if you need help finding your classes or anything just ask a teacher!

Everything is going to be ok I promise!

You're gonna have so much fun! :)

  4. Stay out of everyone's business.

Don't get involved with anyone's drama but your own.

NEVER ask anyone but a teacher for directionsif you get lost.

Make friends with some teachers, it really helps.

  5. Just dont be annoying. Upperclassmen hate that. Don't swear a lot either... you'll just tell people you're trying to be cool when you do that. Don't be a s**t either...gross. Upperclassmen hate that too.

  6. Get to know your high school and be ready to face challenges up ahead. Once you become an upperclassman then you really need to be serious. Of course though you should always be serious. It is important to go to college.

  7. BE YOURSELF!

If you don't you might waste precious years of your life on people that don't even like you. Just be who you are and don't worry about it.

  8. Chilllllllllll out first of all.

I'm a sophomore, and last year was my freshman year.

The first day is always nerve wracking, but you'll make it through.

No, people won't trash can you. [though, it might be different for other schools]

The worst you'll hear is FRESH MEAT and GO HOME FRESHMAN.

    And you'll get lost.

But, it's really awesome-because these are the best years in your life- I mean, you're in high school now!

My advice:  get involved. Run for freshman class secretary, join ASB, get into sports, clubs....

I was freshman prez and I did swimming, forensics, mock trial, and my freshman year rocked.

That way, you'll make tons of friends, stay busy and get to find your outlet.

High school is a place where there's room for everyone.

So don't worry- this is the year where you can really start off your high school career.

  9. Relax. I've seen allot of people asking questions like yours. Just relax and try not to worry about it. If your acting nervous, it will stick out more that your a freshman. As long as you have great friends (quality, not quantity) I promise that you will make it through high school relatively fine.

  10. Lol don't mess it up cause if you do you're going to live with it for the rest of highschool!

But don't worry be yourself and be confident and you should do fine.

  11. im right there with ya.. being a freshman is horrible... i always think abotu whats its gunna be like... be happy you have  a month tho, i only got 2 weeks left!

  12. Here is what I wrote on another question like yours:

Every single freshman is as nervous as you are. I would bet a million dollars that not one person feels totally confident of themselves.

Knowing that, I would be nice and talk to the people you want to be friends with, ask them about themselves, tell them about yourself; figure out what you have in common. People are only friends with people who share the same wants, problems and backgrounds. You will definitely make new friends because you will always find a person who is like you, interested in the same things and experiencing the same problems. If you think of your past friends, think about how much you have in common with them, imagine if you had nothing in common with them, then it wouldn't work no matter how much you wanted to be friends with them!

High school is a big playing ground of competition to get into a good college. Every grade matters, even your freshman year because all colleges look at your averaged gpa from 4 years. I would join a lot of clubs and be involved in the community. Colleges like people who are not only well educated by well rounded.

Don't stress your self out to much the first year, but I recommend taking ap classes to boost your gpa and maybe classes from community colleges during the summer in your sophomore and junior years.

Study well for the SAT and you will have a good life ahead of you!

Don't get to caught up in high school drama or hang out with the wrong people. And party smart!

My first day, was uneventful. I went to all my classes, got lists of supplies that I should bring and books to take home. I had lunch with about a quarter of my friends because the others had a different lunch. I went to a rally welcoming freshman and that was it. Nobody made fun of my freshmeness and it was a lot better than I thought. Just remember that everything is always better than you imagine it to be!

    Good luck!

  13. That you only get to go through High School once in your life and you should enjoy it. Yes, you will have some horrible things happen to you in high school. But the good out weight the bad. So live and learn and enjoy it. It goes by fast and you only remember the good times when you get older and High School doesent even matter.
