Me and my cousin are the same age (actually, only 5 weeks apart). Well, we go to my grandma's house almost every Monday, and we always sew something, because she's a sewer. We've made scarves and skirts for our American Girl dolls, and pillowcases so far, but what should we make next Monday? Links and websites on how to make them would be awesome! Thanks.

  1. Try making some tote bags for carrying groceries. They can be made very simple with two squares of material and attaching handles. You can do what they call "dog  ear " the bottom corners to make the bottom square.  You just take the two squares, sew them together and then sew the bottom corners on the diagonal. I'm sure Grandma can help.
