apart from salty water or something what can make a tin can rust???

  1. a tin can only has a layer of tin about as thick as .01mm cuz itz expensive. tin doesnt rust cuz it does nt react to water and oxygen like iron. but it turns into a powder like a nonmetal when tempretures drop below 13 C or 55 F


  2. anything that wears away the zinc coating.

    Hydrochloric acid would be excellent for that job.

  3. Put it in water for about 10 weeks. And have it in the sun.

    But it might not have it fully coverd in rust maybe you should use some zink.
