  1. Short words and easy to learn Something that they see and use in their every day life routine. Apple, Adult,Air,April,Arm, ax, etc.

  2. You didn't specify exactly what you were wanting.  My daughter knew all of the letters before she turned 4. they like to know what letters peoples names start out with. For example she will see the letter M and say that's M for my aunt Mable. That's S for my friend Stetson, Ect. Are  there people in the childs life whose name starts with A? Children like animals, names of animals are a good way to help them learn. Ape, alligator.  Make it a part of the everyday life. A person can only learn so much at once. when in the car talk about letters on the signs. When in the store talk about letters. they need to learn to recognize the letters on all different kinds of materials and in different formats, signs, books, boxes, etc. I'm curious why you want to know about the letter A . You don't have to start with the beginning of the alphabet. Let your childs curiosity lead the way.  Also kids usually learn the Capital forms first.  That's how they are taught in school so try focusing on just that first.

  3. little children remember short words with not to may letters...try using different "A" words with different vowel sounds

    for example:

    apple

    acorn

    ask

    add

    air

try holding up a card with the word and the picture so she can easily remember because she will have a picture of how the word is spelled and a picture of what the word actually is.

  4. 1. apple

    2. airplane

    3. add

    4. ask

    cat

    hope this helps

  6. apple, airplane, ant, ape, acorn, apron well thats all i can really think of. my 5 year old knows them so hope that helps.

  7. apple alligator ant auntie aunt airplane arrow astronaut ape

  8. Like someone else said, I would find a few creative words in addition to the usual ones. That way, they're learning a new word, too!

    Armor, Atlas, art, angel.

    Or names, Alice, Andrew...

They're never too young to start thinking outside the box!

  9. The most important letter in a child's world at that age is the first letter of his or her name. That is the first word kids will recognize. Then, you can make a game of finding other ojects that begin with the same letter or sound as the child's name.

  10. Apple, anything really.  My son loved Aardvark.    Find kids books or magazines and cut out pictures of things that start with A.

Armodillo,  Kids tend to like animals, toys or familiar things like acorn,, go out in the yard and find one.

Kids potential is unlimited they will learn and know whatever you take the time to teach them
