Do you know what I mean?

I know, not meat.

Buttt, like stuff like Jell-O.

And gum.

I'm a vegerarian, but I just want to make sure I'm not eating something that would hurt an animal.

AND.

Shut your mouth, I don't want to hear your opinion about a vegetarian.

  1. The best way is this. Vegans are quite strict about what they will not eat. I don't mean dairy but say "Honey" and that sort of thing. Go to a place like Wild Oats when you are shopping ( they are always really nice) They will explain the things not to shop for. Also google a statement like 'what vegans can not eat' and you will most likely find some guy  or organization that has a post. Skip the dairy parts and you will have your answer. In fact I am going to to this right now.

  2. It depends on what type of vegetarian you are.

Vegans eat nothing that came from a living organism. Meat, Dairy, Honey. Nor will they buy cosmetics or clothing that may have come from a living organism eg Lanolin, Leather

Vegetarians dont eat anything that resulting in the death of any animal ie meat.

    Sub-strains of vegetarianism include:-

    Pescetarianism – includes fish

Pesco-pollo-vegetarian – includes fish and chicken

Flexi-vegetarianism (or flexitarianism) - is a semi-vegetarian diet involving the practice of eating mainly vegetarian food, but making occasional exceptions for social, pragmatic, cultural, or nutritional reasons.

    Lacto vegetarian – includes dairy

    Ovo vegetarian – includes eggs

Lacto Ovo vegetarian - included eggs and dairy

Sattvic – yoga diet(include water, fruit, cereal, bread, most vegetables, beans, nuts, grains, milk and milk derivatives (cheese, butter, ghee, cream, yogurt), and honey.)

    Also:-

Fruitarianism - only eats ripe fruits of plants and trees

  3. cheese is the main one i would say you haven't mentioned as it contains rennet, and this stuff does occasionally pop in other foods. All foods have to be labelled as clearly as possible so most products will tell you. A lot of things which have been thought to contain animal products no longer do as the industry soon realised people didn't want to eat animal bits unnecessarily! Contact one of the many veg or animal safety organisations for more info.

  4. here is a good list of vegetarian cheeses

    (meaning no animal rennet)

  5. i dont think that they can have shrimp cuz some people think that its ok to eat shrimp i think gum and stuff is ok and personally i have nothing against vegetarians my bro is a vegetarian

  6. Vegetarians just do not consume animal products.

There are so many hidden animal ingredients that is would be a very long list.

The gum I saw being made on TV, they used plastic to make the gum, not animal ingredients.  Yes, plastic.  It was on the TV show "How It's Made".  Plastic, flavour, food colouring.

You can make jello without animal ingredients.  From konyaku, agar, acorn powder, ... there are many different starches etc. that you can make if from.

Cows are injected with hormones to fool their body into believing that they are with a calf.  Normally cows, like all mammals, only produce milk when they have a baby, then afterwards, the milk stops.  What people used to do was keep their cows always pregnant (that's called rape by some people). Then they discovered artificial insemination (rape without the actual sexual act).  Then people discovered hormones.  Producing milk on a continuous basis takes a big toll on the body and these cows do not last very long.  A couple years at the most, when naturally they can live very long lives.

  7. um if your against eating fish i would stay away from ceasar salad dressing most ceasar dressing brands contain anchovies check the labels

  8. always check the ingredients /or green marking.check medicines,vitamins,chocolates,,jellies.i... ur  soaps too.

  9. naw... just meat... and well i personally believe u shouldnt eat eggs either because is like eating a fetus... have u ever craked and egg and there was blood in it?... well my teacher is a vegeterian and well she ate fish sometimes.... idk

    hope i helped

oh and milk is fine... ur not killing the animal...

  10. Marshmallows, Gummi Bears/Worms, Any canned/preserved soup containing any kind of animal stock, any food using gelatin.

  11. That is awesome! I'm a vegetarian as well and the best advice I can give you is check the ingredients on everything you eat. Also, you should be able to find vegetarian or organic stores around where you live. Health food stores that specialize in organic foods carry many vegetarian options and alternatives to products that traditionally would contain things that a vegetarian wouldn't consume.
