I like the manners the French use: a "Bonjour Monsieur" or "Bonjour Madame" is expected, people in a restaurant use their "inside voices", etc.

I like the food made with fresh, locally grown or raised ingredients.

I like their reliance on a national railway network to get from place to place.

I like the way even though they have been on the land for many centuries, they have not sprawled across the land.

I like the cafés and bistros.

I like the way they maintain their historic monuments.

I can't wait to visit again...
