What are some things the trillions spent on this stupid war would be better spent on here at home?

My list:

1. schools

2. fixing potholes and repaving really old roads in not only los angeles, but the whole country with a lot of change to spare, beautifying long overdue this nation

3. tax breaks

It could be used on alot of things,

1. Border security.

2. not knocking you on schools but have you looked at each bill you get, there is a school tax on everything. Maybe we need teachers that teach. Kids now can't do math without a calculator.

If all we had to worry about was ourselves, that would be great. BUT, there are freaking crazy people in the world that want to ruin us. OPEN your eyes. They are not just going  to go away cause we play nice.

First I'd spend money to get a wet behind the ears person like you a little better education.  Second--well I guess had we done nothing to deal with agression in the middle east--we could have spent trillions burying our dead when embolded fanatics attacked america again after america would have done nothing about it.  You got a great idea--reduce our population as well.

Clearly you don't recognize that you sleep safely at night because of where are troops are right now.

Clearly you don't understand that allowing a terrorist network to enlarge and prepare a more massive attack is a bad thing.

Apparently you don't recognize that if we were attacked again, all that hard work we spent on pot holes and schools wouldn't matter because mortar attacks really create bad roads and our schools would be in rubbles.

National security comes first... then we can worry about small town issues.

*Not dismissing need for change in the schools systems, but you have to defend yourself first so that your country is safe for children to go to school.*
