What are some things to do in Chicago,IL for your 16th birthday?

Do a private event Sweet 16 cooking class at Sur la Table in downtown Chicago.  http://www.surlatable.com  I work as a culinary assistant there and someone did a sweet 16 party one night.  They loved it!!

If you are not doing a sweet 16 birthday banquet, grab a few friends and try Mongolian, there is a chain restaurant called the Flatop grill where you stand in a buffet line with your number stick and all your ingredients you place into bowls (your waiter should help you out the first time around), drop it off to cook and it gets delivered to you.  

If it's winter, a nice ski day or weekend, if now, a wave pool, or the Dells might be fun.  

Check out a professional sport game.  See the downtown area by boat tour or visit Skydeck at Sears Tower.

This is a hard question, there isn't much for youth to do where adults can or want to supervise.  Best Wishes!
