  1. If you don't mind my asking why do you have to wait 3 hours? Bring a old friend - a book. Perhaps, a book you already read, but make sure you like it! You don't want to be stuck at the airport with a book you hate. Or bring an nintendo ds or stuff like that. Bring a notebook to write a story. Have a safe flight! I'm leaving a day before you on a flight to England! Have fun!

  2. theres always things to do in the airport but generally end up costing you money.  if you read, get a book by your favourite author and take it with you.  and a magazine or two if you get bored of that.

if you play games, borrow a handheld games machine from someone, like a psp or nintendo ds or gameboy or whatever.

go for something to eat with who you are travelling with, talk about what you are going to do there, organise things and throw ideas at each other.  find out whats in the airport and see if theres anywhere you can go and waste some time, there might be an internet cafe, so go online.

    enjoy your trip!

  3. Read a book, browse the stores, watch CNN on the gate televisions, look at the planes outside your windows, text your friends, sleep, eat, do crossword puzzles, do your nails, play games with your travel companions (Uno, Gin Rummy, Chess or even Battleship, my fav). Or my really favorite thing... grab a seat at a sidewalk cafe and watch all the people that walk by.

  4. Be sure to charge your Ipod, watching the shortest video on it will drain the battery quick.

I carry a small book to read or interesting magazine.

I always carry small snaks or candy in my bag (no bottles nor big containers will be allowed).

I bring a small pillow to lay comfortably for my neck.

I also bring my laptop to edit pictures etc, because internet at airports are not always free.

I always take pictures from way above when inside the plane, they look very cool.

Any type of electronic gaming system if you have any.

I used to draw sometimes, or small notebook, you never know what you would like to write down.

Sudoku is always good for the logic lovers.

a mini DVD player, of if you carry your computer charger you can pass time watching a movie in the airport.

All these things are a bit to get you entertained for a while, remember to have space for you to carry them comfortably, and not too heavy for your back etc.

I always carry a small change of clothes, for whenever a flight gets delayed and you are forced to stay over night.

    have fun on your trip!

  5. Lots of things!

    - Bring a magazine to read - Seventeen, CosmoGirl, Teen Vogue, etc.

    - Bring a coloring book and crayons

    - Watch the planes take off and land

    - Go "people watching" - you can make up stories about the people you see based on what they're wearing, like who they're going to see and where they're from or where they're flying.

    - Grab a snack from a place in the airport (it'll be a bit pricey, just to warn you).

    - Bring a deck of cards or Uno

    - Bring a neck pillow, eyeshade, and blanket (especially if you have a long flight) for napping - you can always buy a silk travel blanket that will take up minimal space in your carry on; it's a good investment to make if you fly a lot. You can also bring a bedsheet and fold it up so that it takes up little room, but it won't be as warm as a blanket.

    - Crossword puzzles and word searches are also good time-busters.

    - If you like to read, bring your favorite long-ish book along.

I hope this helps. Have a great trip!
