a lot of things that have preservatives in them, but also a lot of natural items. remember some algae is seaweed. so...ever eat sushi? or miso soup? thats sea weed...aka algae. kelp is the most commonly found one. most lipsticks contain it as well...but i wouldnt be concerned with that...i'd be worried about chemicals and things...also did you know the use bat p**p(guano) in similar ways as seaweed? the y call it guannalate in things like fritos and doritos...its a preservative too!
