Simply say Allah-u-akbar over and over again......they cannot stand those words.

Say, "I seek refuge in Allah from the evil I can see and cannot see. O Allah, protect our home from the evil we can see and cannot see."

Allah (swt) says that "seeking refuge in Him" from anything bad or things you fear is the highest forms of wordage for protective prayer you can ask of Him.

Examples: I seek refuge in Allah (swt) from.......wrong thoughts, evil eyes, sickness and illness, evil words, etc, or anything that you think is evil.

The most effective and guaranteed and tried remedy is to either recite or put the last rukooh of surah al baqarah on a loud volume on a player. The volume  should be so that its sound reaches every single corner of ur house. I have tried this for my bad jinn dreams and on the house too. It is so quick and effective.
