Hollywood can be a scary place.

To me, it's the place where dreams can come true, but, in reality, to only a selected few.

Some regions/neighborhoods in LA are scary, because the "bad guys" (gangs and thugs, usually) have taken over.  For example -- Cypress Park, northeast of downtown.
