My bf and I have been talking about marriage lately, and since he is Nigerian (Igbo)-American, I am curious to see what foods would be served at a wedding. I have had Nigerian food, but I am wondered if there is anything in particular that would be served at a reception specifically. Thanks in advance!!

  2. Oh my goodness...there are so many dishes: Jaloff Rice, Red Stew and Rice, Fried Plantain, Egusi Soup, Moi-Moi, Pepper Soup, all sorts of flavored and cooked goat, beef and chicken meat, fufu aka semo aka farina, vegtable soup, akra, okra soup, oxtail...

Just research a couple of the foods that I named or just holler at your BF's family and friends!!

Good luck and congrats on the upcoming wedding!
