What are some tricks to attracting Martins to my yard? ?

I know they "require" a certain height from the ground & distance from the house... Can you tell me the specifics?

I assume you are talking about birds, not people. I can't help you with people Martins, other than maybe, free beer?This is the sort of thing you can find tons about on Google.  Personally, I think Purple Martins are over rated. They are kind of a "snob bird". They are finicky, hard to please, not all that hardly, and frankly, not that bright. Bats and Swallows will eat far more bugs, and they are a lot easier to attracted.
