What are some tricks to improve my time on flex arm hang?

  1. I'm going into the service too!!! The Marines :) To improve on your flex arm hand you should do ton's of push up's! Also try some pull up's most women that are in fit shape can do 10 easy! work on this and your arm strength will increase! You could look up work outs on military.com (this is where i goy my work out) Do some tri-pods and other upper arm strength work outs. Swimming also helps i recomend using a pool boy (a floating device in between your legs right above the knee. for a straight 500 yards, or 2 sets of 200 yards, or 5 sets of 100 yards then got to the work out room (nearest YMCA) and work out for 30 minutes but only work outs that will benifit your arms...if you don't know which one's to use take a friend or ask a trainier working there. You should see major results in an increase in you flex arm hang time in about 2 weeks. This is the work out that i have started in march and i have gained 1 whole minute and a few seconds i use to be 50 seconds but now i'm just 5 away from 2 minuets!!!
