what are some types of loads (tensile, torsion, cyclic, static) that act on some of these structures. I have already thought of a few but could use some more ideas!

- Push bike frame

- car driveshaft

- truck driveshaft

- Replacement hip

thanks for ideas!

  1. Sorry I don't understand what a push bike is but with the additional examples the frame exhibits distributed loads under the rider's reaction points (feet, seat) and static reactions at the wheel joints.

The driveshafts are the same and if horizontal contain shear forces between gravity and their fixture points, if cantilevered they contain a bending moment (torsion) around their fixture. They contain torsion forces from the reaction about the rotation.

I'd have to see the area in question on the hip. It may contain either tension or shear.
