What are some types of trees you would find in a wheat field?

  1. I have seen clumps of gum trees growing in wheat fields in New South Wales, deliberately left in oder that when the field is used for sheep grazing, there is shelter for them. It also helps with keeping the salt from rising and ruining the soil.

    Apart from that, you are probably not going to see trees growing in a wheat field, unless along the banks of a river that borders the field, which may have willow, tea tree, melaleuka or what ever tree native to the particular region growing along its banks.


  2. Well, if it was a wheat field in the UK it would be very unlikely to have any trees in it because they get in the way of sowing and harvesting.
