I need to come up with an action plan to market a website, similar to Facebook but revolving around business. I just wanted to get different perspectives and maybe bounce some ideas. Thanks!

Do what others do - use free ad sites like http://www.sellit-right.com - great one I know and http://www.classifieds.com

Put url on google and yahoo.

Yes still use services like Bebo and tell others by word of mouth.

Advertise yur website...  Once it becomes a bit bigger you can have people pay you to advertise, which will make more traffic and make you a profit.
