  1. we're going bowling! My finace and I both wanted to just have one big party with everyone there. My sis is the maid of honor but she is under 21 so we're going to a local bowling alley, they also have a bar, arcade, food and what-not. Everyone will be able to be there and we can have fun without getting trashed or getting embarassed.

  2. If you are looking for something more tame, what about going for manicures or pedicures and then a martini bar? A comedy club? A fancy dinner out? A purse party? (I would suggest a lingerie party...but I don't know how you feel with your mom and his mom).

  3. have a swingers party

  4. Do you have access to a Polaroid camera?  Take a picture of each guest. Once the picture sets, have the guests write down an "advice" on it.  When all the guests have arrived, gather around and read those advice out loud.  We did that at my sister's shower and everyone had a ball.  Put them in a decorated photo box and the couple will love it!

Alternatively, get one of those "advice" cards.  There are some on ebay:

Take a picture of the bride and each guest, and adhere the picture to each advice card later.  You could do homemade thank you cards with those pictures too.

Also found this hilarious gift called "The Husband Household Helper Kit", bought one for my sister.  It was the talk of the party, and the older generation started sharing stories, some good ones too!

  5. a "Slumber Party"

  6. go to a day spa or take a mini cruise they are always fun with so many things to do...

  7. i went to a "pajama party" we had all different ages there...we ate junk food, did make up and hair.....told stories  took pictures and put them in an album.....left a copy of it in the grooms room before the ceremony ( the guests were wondering what the laughs were all about)  Gave each attendent a copy too. We had so much fun.. the older ladies and their stories were a hoot. it was one unforgettable event and didnt cost alot either just very creative
