What are some unique groomsmen gifts?

Question

I'm trying to help my fiance find gifts for his groomsmen. He doesn't want anything too generic like the pocket knife (a few of his buddies already have really nice ones) or a flask or cuff links.

3 out of 4 of his friends are engineers, the 4th is a medical program - if that helps at all?

Nothing over $50 either.

A pocketwatch with your names and wedding date engraved on the back, an engraved Zippo if they smoke, fancy beer stein are just a few suggestions.

My suggestion would be personalized money clips, beer mugs, cigar case and trimmer, golf towels, or business card holders. I am a dealer for carlson craft and I sell these items. My son is getting married soon and he purchased each a pocket watch to be worn with their tuxedo...Things Remembered has some very nice ones for a very reasonable price!  Or, you can select a nice pen and pencil set...everybody writes!

We're getting ours nice bottles of bourbon.  The other thing I thought of was a shaving kit.

Something relating to their hobbies is always nice, like a good pen and journal for a writer, a goody bag with strings and picks and whatnot for a guitarist, a video game they can play on-line together, etc.

You don't have to get them all the same gifts - you could get each of them something different, but in the same price range.

Or - what about tickets to a sporting event? Maybe you could buy them tickets so they can all go to a game together. You could put the tickets in a small cooler with some beer, snacks, etc.

Other than that, a gift certificate to their favorite store is always a great gift. This way they can pick out whatever they like.

Well for our wedding my best man, who is my brother, is getting some cuff links that say best man on them. And all the groomsman are getting the black Chuck Taylors, that we are all wearing with the tuxedos, as a gift :)
