There are 5 seniors, and I am planning it. I know it's months away, but i want it to be really really good. I know the basics, posters, food, decorations, but whats a really good idea that will make it memorable?

  1. I think you should have all the parents of the seniors play a small game of volleyball or get some of your schools class clown boys or something like that to make it funny.

  2. Decorate your locker room in school colors, balloons, streamers and streamer curtain to run out through before the game. Recognize the players before the game and have the juniors present flowers and a copy of the video slide show you make of the season. You should make t-shirts for your team with something relating to seniors on the back such as "we love our seniors" or "senior night 08", something the seniors can remember your team with. If this is allowed at your school, decorate their cars or parking spaces with washable fun paint saying something about senior night. If you are a closely bonded team, they will always appreciate a letter or heartfelt note about how much they mean to your team. You can also decorate their lockers (inside and out) with season pictures, school colors and the posters and signs you have made. --- just some ideas we use at my school--- good luck!

by the way, you might want some help with this! i hope you aren't the only one planning it!!

  3. we had 5 senors also...

--we had a 'best friend' of each senor give a speech. Ours got super emotional to the point where EVERYONE was sobbing.

    --signed t shirts, flowers, stuff...

--when we opened the stage curtains there were 5 life size cut outs of the girls! it was soooo cute.

  4. It depends how much money you can and want to spend for your departing seniors but here are some ideas:

--A slideshow of pictures from the whole season if you have some (or start taking them NOW!), slideshows are always moving and fulfilling

--Decorate their lockers and maybe make a gift basket for each with little volleyball trinkets, key chains, socks, etc.

--Get a volleyball for each senior (get others to help put money towards them) and have every girl sign them. Once you give the balls to each girl the seniors can sign each others and always have it as a memento.

--Take a whole team picture and get cute frames for each senior with that picture in it

--For a funny take on it, take each personality of the seniors and decide who is the funniest or craziest or ditziest or brainiest, etc. and make Award certificates for each.

  5. a video slide show of pictures from the entire season :]
