I'm writing a book, and I'm looking for methods that aren't common. You know, the "I once heard of someone who had a friend" kind of things.

Or what people in other countries & cultures do. Home remedies. Whatever you can think of that works (and that doesn't endanger the baby. Sickos.)

Thanks!

  1. - place the baby in a baby seat/car seat securely and put on top of a washing machine or dryer that's running (vibrating), and you of course stand beside the whole time

    - put baby in the car seat and into the car and drive around the block

    - take baby for a walk in the stroller

    - from the age of 12m+ they can ride in a bike trailer ... my fella always fell asleep in the trailer!

    - rub their forehead gently in a downward motion over their eyes; they can't help but close their eyes

    - provide a pacifier and a blankie (or something for them to cling to)

  2. My husbands cousin said they would put baby in car seat carrier then put that in the crib or even put that in bed with them to help baby fall asleep
