Question:

What are some vegan restaurants in Italy?

My brother will be taking a trip there and he is vegan. He'll be traveling around he country, to Rome, Venice, Florence, Tuscany, etc. Thanks for any help.

  1. If you travel in Northern Italy (Milan, Torino) look for "La Buona Terra" (The Good Earth). They have a macrobiotic cuisine out of this world. I know for sure that they are located in Genoa too.

    and choose the region; V in red background means "veagn", in green bg means "vegan/vegetarian", "C" is a "normal" restaurant with some veg choice; "M", macrobiotic, "E" ethnic.

  3. There is an excellent Vegetarian restaurant and probably the cheapest in the area in Via dell Ruote, Florence - main dishes start at €5 - everything home made.
