What are some veterinary colleges to go to in New York or close to New York?

I would like to be a veterinarian and I was wondering where some good veterinary colleges are that I wouldn't be that far away from home.My mother doesn't want me to go to like California to go to college so I need to find some local colleges.

Cornell is closest.  Vet school is after your 4-year bachelor's degree is completed, so you don't need to go there until your bachelor's is completed.  Vet school is very competitive so you'll need to apply to several colleges.
