  1. Well, the key is to sing from your stomach and not your voice box. I heard that Jordin Sparx snapped her voice box in half from singing from it, i'm not sure thats exactly true, but practice singing some songs that show range in your voice and sing from your stomach while you're at it.

  2. start with lower notes going up in half steps and singing the note as if it were a triad, or in a third.. then get as high as you can doing that, and come back down, again in half steps. sing the notes on vowels like a ("ah") or o ("oh").. it opens up your throat and helps lift the soft pallete, making it easier to reach higher notes, and giving you a better tone. also try singing scales.. i wish i could tell you more, but i dont know how to explain the exercises!... well i hope this helps anyways.

  3. Singing all the scales - and there are at least a dozen, then move on to modes. There is no end to singing exercises. Also sing to popular songs. If you can do it perfectly, you're making progress.

  4. la la la la la la la la la la la ( sing up a note then go back down)

do re me fa so la ti do (sing up a note then go back down)

Sing one sylllable words like "me" , take a deep breathe and sing it out, so it should sounld like this........(breathe in........., and Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...

Then you can try going up a note saying simple one syllable words like La.. these are also good warm up exercises.

  5. There are several questions about this already...

    Here's a few I used for warm-ups:

    -Scales (Helps Pitch)

-Supercalifragilisticexpialadocious (Sing it oer and over and it helps your words)

-Ho ho ho ho ha ha ha ha (over and over again in a do-mi-so-mi-do-mi-so-mi pattern in different scales. Helps diaphragm)

-AEIOU song from Alice In Wonderland (Listen to it on Youtube... Sing it yourself! Try to get through a whole line without taking a breath. Helps breathing.)

-Hold a note (any) and toy with the volume without chaning pitch (ex. do-oooooo-OOOOOOO-ooooo kinda..)

-Lay on your back and BREATHE. Put your hands on your stomach and see if your stomach/abdomen is expanding.

    Good luck!
