What are some was i can get back into shape for Cheerleading?

i work 6hrs a week with the squad i am with now but i am thinking of moving squads and they do 10hrs a week and i know i am not fit enough for the amount of work they do! Please help, i do not live in an area when i can go on runs or any thing like that and i need to get in shape asap cause i have a cheer camp comeing up and i have been told how hard they work there and as much as it is gonna kill me cause i am outa shape it will be good for me but i would rather not struggle in front of the whole camp!

  1. I got that it's very good to run by jumping the stairs up & down just in one leg at a time (got it in dance classes);

    You should have also some electrostimulation for your all body muscles if you want a quicker outcome from your training. Muscles are trained the Best Way by this method, BUT you shall not have enough breath, endurance.

    Such I would advice you:

    - to electrostimulate your muscles,

    - have a daily jogging (or have this also in a fitness center)

    - and work at home for your mobility

    (better you'll do it also in a fitness center at the wall-stair this way: you put one leg up as high as you can, higher & higher, and exercise from there your torso down over the other leg and up over the one up there. The leg on the floor must be far from the wall-stair. Also have your hands on those steps, the same position, and pull yourself to the wall-stair, flexing the leg which is up on it until that leg shall be over your shoulder !!!)

    This is the quickest way for you to get into shape.

    (I also cannot run because of the free dogs in the streets. Oh, have some roller-skating, too.)


  2. I know a little something about cheerleading and staying in shape for it. I am on the competitive and sideline cheerleading team at my high school! And I just got back from cheer camp.

    Here are some things that I do to stay in shape for cheerleading...

    I go to the fitness center.

    Plios

    Pilates

    Dancing

    Stretching

    Jumping Jacks (Jump til you can't jump no more! lol!)

    Body pump

    Other ideas...

    Run around your house

    Get an aerobic or kickboxing excercise video and workout to that. It helps a lot!

  4. toe touches exercize daily and as you know cheerleading is one of the hardest sport  

  5. Some was right and some was wrong,,,,,,,,,,,,You was!

    However, some WAYS include Both legs extended under the bed and do multiple repetitions of situps. Ten at a time with breaks of ten seconds between. Also do running up and down your stairs gradually increasing the time yu spend doing it as you feel stronger each day. If you ache, rest for a day and do nothing so as to recover. Stepping up and down just the first two steps of stairs is also good. Do some pressups in reps of ten resting for the same time between reps.

    Go Baby Go! U will leave them all for dead!
