What are some ways I can help cats?

I'm 17 and I love cats!

All of the shelters in my area require you to be 18 to help out.

What are some other ways I can help cats?

You can donate to your shelter! Buy some fun kitty toys and bed and donate them to the shelters.

You can get your parents to get you a cat from a shelter, if you don't have one yet. You're saving it from euthenesia.

You can get your parents to "foster" a cat, but really /you'

ll/ foster it.

Maybe find some feral kittens and raise them?

You can cat sit for people, have garage and bake sales and donate the proceeds to the shelter, tell all your friends how important it is to spay and neuter their cats, and gather things from the shelter's wish list to donate. Thanks for wanting to help!

You can donate to shelters! Also, you can spread the word about how bad it is to declaw your cat and that it is most humane to get your cat fixed.

Well one thing you can do for sure is make donations to a local shelter to help cats. Maybe even go around from door to door and tell people about your cause and ask if they would like to donate as well.

Since your probably don't live on your own yet it might not be possible; but my fiance's father fosters animals. He is part of an organization I think it's called ALF, this is for dogs mostly I think.  But he fosters them and finds them homes like foster parents do for children. Myself, I have two orange tabbys that were saved from forklifts at my job. My babies heh. And two other strays that his father took in. It is nice to see a stray enjoying the good life.

I am so happy that you are willing to help animals! This website is a prevention from animal cruelty website and if you sign up and donate for some things that would be great! I saw the commercial of this website and I started crying because it was so sad.
