  1. Leaving lights on in an empty room. Leaving the water heater on all day.

  2. You're wasting energy by asking this question.

  3. Leaving lights on when your not in the room, Leaving the car engine run

  4. All of these people trying to outdo neighbours with so many Christmas lights !!

Yes have a nice traditional tree with lights , and maybe a few strung up elsewhere , but honestly some of the houses I have seen must run up half their electricity bill during the few weeks around Christmas .

  5. leaving lights on, running heater, a/c on too high, especially with windows open, leaving tv on with no one watching, same with radio, computer, cars idling. Doing stupid things with your time rather than productive stuff.

  6. anyone driving unnecessarily

leaving lights on in unused rooms

    using the wrong light bulbs

leaving the TV on all night with no one watching

    washing laundry in hot water

not keeping your car tuned up

not checking the pressure in car tires causing use of extra fuel(with gas at $2.71 a gallon, some places $2.89)

  7. At last! somebody's on the right track!

So many people seem concerned about saving energy.

Energy does not need saving, it's quite ok without your help.

It's us that waste energy, in lots of ways.

Small amounts of energy can be "saved" by turning down your heating, and using "energy saving" light bulbs, and only putting the minimum amount of water you require in your kettle to boil, etc..  etc..

BUT this all gets blown away when you leave your front door open for five minutes to go back and forth to the car to bring in your shopping, when you have every light in your house on when you're only in one room, and when you forget to make your cup of tea and have to re-boil the kettle.

Basically stopping wasting energy is about using the energy efficiently. This means YOU have to make the effort to be sure to make good use of the energy.

So DO keep your doors and windows closed in cold weather (including internal doors) - except when you're actually going through the doorway; DO turn off all lights when you're out of a room for any length of time; and DO stay in the kitchen while the kettle boils so that you can use the boiling water.

Put efficiency before convenience, and you can avoid wasting of energy.

  8. farting in the wind

  9. living the lights on even not used, living the faucet flowing even not used, not using pails when in laundry and washing dishes...............etc

  10. not turning off the lights, tv, water heater, fans, computer, car, playstation, radio, etc

Why are u asking this anyway??
