  1. Talk to the older people in the community that can't do things anymore and offer to do them for just a bit less than everyone else is charging. I did that when I was young and had more work than anyone else. Just make sure you do a good job. The possibilities are endless. You can garden, mow the lawn, babysit, go to the store, carry things. I wish I had someone to carry things to and from my basement. I would pay for that. Talk to people and see what they need and what they would pay for. Maybe put fliers under car windshield wipers that say jack of all trades will help you with anything. Prices are negotiable. Best of luck to you.

  2. Well , i live in the country so it might be different but i know that you can blueberry rake. last year i made like $250 , for a week and a half . You can also do local sports reffing / lines if you know how to. Other than that pretty much mow lawns , house work , babysit , and just any odd jobs people need done.

  3. You could hook.

  4. babysit

  5. i know mcdonalds and subway wont hire a 13 year old. wait utill your 14 and then you can work at sicily's. thats what im doing

  6. it's either get paid by your parents or your friends.

13 years is too young for any job.

What I did was help my friend's hack their psps and made money from that.

My other friend sold frozen drinks and snacks at school and he made a good profit

  7. Babysit or mow lawns. Pretty much any job where you can get paid under the table.

  8. Go to this site, if your a gamer. You can get free consoles and games.

  9. hmm thats a tough one.

babysit. see what jobs are avaliable. Maybe you could work for someone in the family? mow lawns, shovel snow, etc. for your neighbors.

  10. ebay

  11. If you have any family members who own stores, ask if you can work for minimum wage ($2.00 an hour). If not, then make some cool bracelets and sell them at a local craft fair. Hope this helped you!!!!

  12. -mow lawns

    -shovel driveways (when snowing)

    -paper route

    -paint fences

    -baby sit

  13. So, what are some ideas for a business beyond a lemonade stand or babysitting? Here goes:

A cleaning service.- Maybe you hate doing your chores at home, but getting paid for doing them is completely different! You could offer complete housecleaning services, or specialize in one or more areas, such as attic/basement/garage cleanups.

A yard maintenance service.- There is always something that needs to be done…mowing lawns and weed control in the spring and summer, raking leaves in the fall, and shoveling snow and planting for the spring in the winter.

A car-detailing business.- With so many people working multiple jobs and having such busy lifestyles, very few people have the time to really take care of their cars -- and you could offer a weekly or monthly service of washing, waxing, vacuuming, etc.

A pet sitting service.- Typically more of a summer business when people tend to go on vacation, but you might be able to have a year-round business by offering pet walking, bathing, cleaning, etc. services.

A PC tutor/Web site development service.- Are you a whiz with computers and the Web? Well, many adults are not, and you could make a good business helping people learn to use PCs and develop Web sites for their families -- or for their businesses.

A catering service.- Do you enjoy cooking and baking? In these busy times, if you can provide a service that offers well-cooked meals, you could do quite well.

A painting service.- If you have some experience -- or there is a few of your friends that want to go in business with you -- you might consider a painting business. People are always renovating…and you could paint exteriors in the nicer months and interiors during the colder months.

An errand, messenger, or delivery service.- This idea works best in larger cities where there are more people and public transportation, but these are busy times and people need help with all sorts of errands.

An educational tutoring service.- If you have expertise in one or more areas -- music, foreign language, math and science, or others -- you could offer tutoring sessions to children, teens, and adults in your neighborhood.

An online Web business.- If you are a master at creating Web pages, perhaps what you need to do is brainstorm a concept for an online business -- where your potential customers can come from anywhere in the world, not just in your local neighborhood. (See our Web Resources Page for key information about developing a Website.)

A freelancing service.- If you are truly gifted in a certain field, such as writing, drawing, or photography, consider starting a freelancing business where you sell your wares to various businesses and media outlets. (Read more about a freelancing career.)

  14. ok im 12 so thats close what i have done was sell unused stuff on ebay sell drinks and stuff on the coner of the road and also if u want money u kinda have to do anything:)

  15. Mow lawns or baby-sit. I lived in the mid-west when I was young and you could "detassel" corn or work for the school district cleaning and painting things before school started up. Also check working for the city. It is very hard to find a job at a business when you are that young, but try calling and asking anyways. Good luck!

  16. Mowing lawns can be extremely lucrative. If you are dependable and do a good job, the going rate here is about $30-35 a lawn (~1/4 acre). It's hot, hard work, but that's why people are so eager to hire YOU! So THEY won't have to mow themselves! And it'll help you get in shape and get a tan both!

If you get regular customers, they often throw in tips, too. A couple of lawns per day turns into a pretty sweet income pretty fast. It may be a little late for this year, but you can go door to door next spring and introduce yourself with flyers about your lawnmowing business. Grownups really love that kind of entrepreneurial spirit.

  17. at 13 you can do anything that is county sponsored ( at least in my neighborhood) they passed out flyers that allowed us to work at a mini golf course, marina, and a AAA base ball park      fast food wouldnt hire you until your 16

  18. baby sit. all you do is watch tv and eat the peoples food

  19. go apply at mcdonalds or subway, offer to clean houses, babysit, make jewlerry and find somewhere to sell it

  20. professional beggar

  21. when i was 13 i made money by mowing poeples yard helping neighbors around their houses and doing peples errands

  22. babysit

Put up flyers and sound responsible

  23. Newspaper boy,or girl. Mow peoples lawns, pet sit, baby sit. Really I don't know of any places that hire 13 year olds. Maybe amusement parks in the area are hiring.

  24. Weeding neighbors gardens, mowing lawns, dog sitting, washing cars, etc.

    Chores not chours.

  25. Figure out a way to get paid under the table. You won't get a retail job til you're 16.  Go door to door and offer to mow their lawn, repaint their street address, or walk their dog.  You gotta understand that making money takes hard work.  You gotta hustle, and that won't change, so to learn the tricks of the trade early on is a good thing.  Be ambitious and spend your money wisely.

  26. Umm well you could maybe help out with a family buisness. You can maybe be one of your family members helper for there work and ask them to pay you.You could babysitt thats what I did like neibors or something. Or maybe if you just want to make money have a little yard sale and sell some of your stuff.Maybe do a carwash and charge for it. Lemonade stand haha..little things like that will get you money and maybe do more than 1..

    I really hope this helps...
