  1. some things that would help are:

    maybe accentuating something you do like about yourself... ie if you think you have pretty eyes put some makeup on to really make them stand out, it sounds funny but it really does help. or if you think you have a nice butt or b***s, wear something that accentuates them. you get the drift.

    do something that pleases you, like for me i LOVE to shop, it makes me happy :]. so thats what i do if im having a bad day or if im feeling down, i go shopping, doesnt have to be big or expensive just something to make me happy lol. sometimes i dont even buy anything, i just love to look around! but at the same time if your having a "fat day" lol, dont buy clothes, buy shoes or a purse, those dont need to be tried on lol.

    if you have a boyfriend, go around him, im sure he will make you feel beautiful :]

    really it just depends on what youre feeling self-conciouse about... so what is it?


  2. For me giving myself a manicure, pedicure, shaving legs etc until silky smooth, facial, and coloring my hair until I am totally groomed no stone unturned if you get my drift, that really seems to help me feel very sparkly.

  4. Keep a box of things that make you feel really good about yourself and have pictures that remind you of good times you've had. It can have things like a paper you did really good on, a trophy, any kind of recognition you've recieved.

  5. I have a lot of issues with this and my best coping skill is thinking of all of the things I have in life no matter what I'mm feeling self conscious about. I think about how I'm lucky to have a family. I think about how I'm fortunate to have a job and friends..and yadda yadda yadda. :)

    Also, as corny as it may sound, you ARE the only you and that means something. It took me a few years to think that one through.
