  1. Yes and I wash myself when I am sweating.I grab a cloth and wipe off all the sweaty stink without using precious water.I donte flush toilets very often but when it gets stinky I have no choice.I brush my teeth like hardly ever.I use mouth wash. I shave like one day a week and do I use water do do it. My only fo par is I use lots of water to make beer.

  2. Two minute showers or play a song and shower for the duration of the song as a timer.  Put a bucket in shower to collect water for the garden or plants.  Only flush for number two or install a half flush toilet.  Install flow restricters on taps in the house.  They aerate the water and you don't even notice the difference and they are cheap and easy to install.  s***w them on the tap outlet.  If you have money you could install grey water separaters or rain water tanks.

  3. just wash it by hand but turn it off while you are cleaning it using your sponge.do use pail to take a bath but i use shower in my house. he he he.

  4. EFFICIENT WATER USE in and around the house

collect rain water in tanks ,to wash the car and irrigate the garden ,from the roof of the house .

    for the men

go for a pee in the garden or buy a urinal which does not use a gallon of water every time you go for a pee.

and you could make a neat outhouse for women for the same purpose ,which does not use water .

don`t use water extravagantly, put low pressure shower heads in the shower .

one can connect the sink straight to the toilet cistern and so use the water twice ,first to have a shave and then to flush the toilet

also if you bend the ball valve you can regulate the level of the cistern.no need to put bricks in the cistern.

Always have your Grey water and Black water separate,so that the sink and shower water goes directly into the garden saving on irrigation and at the same time ,making the sewage smaller and easier to deal with ,

This also goes and irrigates the garden but via a cistern of two compartments and a French drain ,on which you plant trees,

  5. a really good way to save water in your toilet and not spend alot of money is to .....

1.get an empty gatorade bottle, the kinda big ones

    2. fill them with rocks and a little bit of bleach, then s***w the lids on them really really really tight

    3. put them in the back of your toilet and it'll work just like normal/ just make sure to change the bottles out every couple of months

the water displacement from the bottles saves about a gallon a flush :D

  6. take quick showers instead of baths

turn water off when your not using it

and idk that's all I can think of

  7. many ways this can be done;

    A) when you rinse dishis stop up the sink and put the water from rinsing the dishes in a bucket, cup, etc.

    B) when you wash clothes, when it is done with the rinsing cycle and it starts to drain, dip out the water wiht a cup and pour in a bucket, etc.

    C) if you must wash car park it in the grass while washing, this washes your car and waters the grass.

  8. -To make kundis (narrow in shape)so that wehen there is rain the wter fall in kundis.

-to make big tanks it will be filled in rainy season.

-to use less amount of water in washing clothes and utensils.

  9. Try piping your washing machine outlet to the toilet, save you time and water to wash it, smells better too.

  10. drink beer and coke.

  11. Only run dishwasher when full, take shorter showers, don't let water run while brushing teeth, buy low flow toilets, cut back on watering grass and plants, wipe car down with damp towel and hand dry rather than washing in driveway (maybe go to car wash).

  12. Five minute showers: try it, it's plenty of time. When you do your dishes, have a tub of water sitting in the sink to let them soak in because it takes less effort and less rinsing when they've soaked. Get a low-flow shower head (Home Depot has them) and don't flush the toilet every time you pee.

Quit watering your flowers and grass, it's fall anyway they're about to die for now. And shut the water off between rinsing your toothbrush.

  13. take navy showers

  14. I live in an area that is in a SEVER drought.  Here is a run down of what we have to do:

    1) Surprisingly dishwashers use less water than hand washing.  This is only a drawback if you have a garden because...

    2) Since all outdoor watering was banned, we now use 'gray water' to feed the plants.  This is water from the tub, shower or hand washing the dishes.  I have to say I am amazed how much of it there is.

    3) If you can water outside only water after sundown or before sunup.  Use soaker hoses whenever possible instead of sprinklers.

    4) Fill a one liter soda bottle with water and put in the back of your toilet tank after flushing.  This reduces the volume of water needed to fill the tank.

    5) Install low-flow shower heads & take quick showers not baths.

    6) Only run the washing machine when you have a full load.

    7) Wash your car every month or every other week (cut down the frequency).

    Good Luck!
