I'd agree with Area Woman; you're recycling old things which is pretty darn green...don't put anything in a big when people buy something...take a nickle or 10 cents off when people bring their own bag either to recycle or put their new items in.

Give out "Green Tips" on recycled paper (like on the back of printer paper that you've used once). Make sure all your left over items are given to a local charity or thrift store.

Yard sales *are* green. You are reusing stuff. Its all good. You can spiffy it up by making the signs advertise the fact that reusing things and having yard sales helps the environment because it is staying out of the landfill, its useful to other people and does not have to be shipped anywhere, and is a form of recycling.
