What are some ways to help when feeling nauseated?

I know ginger ale helps when feeling nauseated. does anybody know some other ways to help when feeling sick to the stomach.

  1. Peppermint - suck on a peppermint candy or lifesaver


  2. Real ginger, crystallized ginger or ginger tea work even better. Also, there is a type of gingerale if you can find it in the state you live in called "Vernors". It really does help nausea and tastes a lot better in my opinion.

    Also, at any pharmacy ask where the cola syrup is. You can put it on crushed ice and it will help soothe your tummy. I hope you feel better soon.

  3. well this is in alternative medicine... so i'm going to say an alternate way to cure nausea is to take a hit of marijuana. works like a charm. why do you think they give it to cancer and aids patients for nausea? because it helps it greatly.

  4. On your hand firmly press the web between your thumb and first finger with the other hand. hold about 30 seconds then release.

  5. Lemon and ginger help, so try either lemonade or water with lemon. Ginger snap cookies might help too.

  6. This is probably something you won't like, but a single small toke of marijuana will fix that. You can use it medicinally for nausea and bad stomach cramps. Not enough to get high/stoned, just enough to fix the discomfort, but if you dont smoke its probably not a good idea, unless you frequently suffer from it because of an illness.

    What you can do:

    Rest ... do not overeact.

    Take small sips of fluids....not alcohol, coffee,fizzy drinks,milk  tea or alldairy products must be avoided at least 2 days.

    Take small amounts of semi solid food for 2days. Make sure the food you eat is not spoiled.

    Take medicine for preventing motion sickness.

    consult your doctor if vomiting persists or bring up blood;abdominal pain,fever,loss of appetite, swollen lymp glands or you feel drowsy.

  10. get some gravol or dramamine from your local drugstore.there medicines for nasuea and motion sickness.just ask the employees where they're located

  11. ginger, mint, lemon or lime, sprite, saltine crackers, motion sickness bands (you wear them on your wrists and they stimulate pressure points)

  12. the best way is prevention. i.e prevent or stop the causative agent. and i personally use metoclopromide a magical drug because the provocative agent in my case is unpreventable

  13. best answer right here. chocklate milk.  the milk coats your stomache and the sugar in the chocklate nutralises the acid in your stomache which is what is making you nauseated.

  16. Hmm you should try eating some plain crackers. That'll calm the stomach. Or try pepto bismol or rollaids (spelling?), just some kind of medicine that helps the stomach. I hope you feel better!!

  17. if your feeling sick in your stomach try drinking water that'll help clear excessive acid that is building in your stomach, plus you can also try pepto bismol
