Right now, Im 5'10" and weight 190lbs. I tested my vertical and its 18".

I want to be able to dunk. What are some equipments I should use or some drills I should do to improve my vertical? (Jumpsoles, Plyometrics, ankle weights, stairs, etc.)

  1. jump roping helps

    jumpsoles really help

    leg workouts help too

  2. hit the weight room... do some cleans (i hope you know what those are)... pull out the good old weight vest and run up a set of stairs for twenty minutes doing different things such as run up run down, hop on one leg up and down switch...so on and so forth... drop your weight a little 180 should be good (explanation in a minute)... do squats and that will definitely help alot

i was a sophomore when i was able to dunk... i was 5-11 183 and i dont play basketball anymore... i did when i was like 5-9 but i quit for lax and hockey... but i have since 10th grade been able to dunk on the 10.5 foot rims in the gym (main basketball hoops)

  3. i've seen some good results with this:

    wall sits

    regular jumping

    net touches

    squats/hands on head

    '', hands in front

    squats holding a weight plate

    squats with bar behind head

    ankle weights with jump rope

    tip toe raises

    power rebounds

    palms on ceiling

i found most of this online

    hope i helped ;]
