What are some ways to make a nest for a pair of cockateils?

Also how do you get them to fertilize the eggs?

Because they keep having them but their eggs are never fertile...

Sometimes it takes a while for a young pair to get it right and produce fertile eggs. You can find a tiel nest box at Petco or Petsmart cheap, line the bottom with plain pine shavings. You can't do anything to help birds fertilize eggs, they are going to have to figure it out on their own eventually...cockatiels are normally easy to breed so hopefully once you get their nest box all set up they will get it right soon!!!

There are many websites that sell cockatiel nest boxes, and instruction for making them on "cockatiels.org". If one of your females keeps laying eggs, she may become calcium deficient. Have you seen two cockatiels mating? Both of your birds may be females. If you are sure they are a pair, feed them very well with a variety of foods, put up the nestbox, give them a little more daylight each day, and if they are compatible they will mate. If they don't they might not like each other, so try a different pair mixture. If you want baby birds, please study books, check websites, and make sure you will care for them well.
