What are some ways to motivate myself to get to bed early at nights?

I can't seem to motivate myself. I keep delaying whatever I am doing.

  1. Think about the next day. If you sleep early, you'll wake up early.

    You can get things done in a day.


  2. Usually what I do is I try to think of at least one thing i am going to do tomorrow that I really look forward to.  This way I get to bed quicker to make the next day seem to come quicker.

  3. Exercise hard in the morning or afternoon.

    Don't eat anything after 6pm (makes the blood sugar level fall and hence you get sleepy).

    Lie in bed and read, particularly a boring book.

    Remind yourself why it's a good idea.
