What are some ways to paint splatter my converse?

I have black converse high tops (brand new) and I'd love to splatter them with cool colors of paint.

What are some ways I can do this, so that it comes out looking good?

Get a brush and whip the paint at it from a distance

You can run your thumb across a toothbrush dipped in paint, or use a larger brush for larger splatters.

You can also load a brush with paint, then tap the handle so drops fall off.

Definitely practice (preferably outside on newspaper) to see the effects you get.

The paint drops can take a long time to dry, depending on the humidity, so make sure they are totally dry before wearing them.
