What are some ways to serve water at a public facility in an eco friendly way?

my country club wastes tons of plastic cups

and i want to make a difference

i plan on emailing the manager with some better options

any ideas?

They should have a dishwasher anyway, so glasses should not be a problem.

if they really need disposable, then potatoe starch or similar compostable products are avaible, and can be composted to re-use on the grounds.

or better use the old style drinking fountains, preferably with an auto cut-off.

have them use paper cups that are recyclable and probably cheaper

You could suggest the country club sell refillable bottles with the name of the owner on the outside.  It could be a collector's item if the logo of the club is stamped on the outside.  It could promote and advertise the business outside the club.
