What are some ways you calm yourself down?

Recently I discovered a trick that helps me calm down. I take a photo of myself (on my phone) of how I feel, have a look at it, then I take another photo and do the same thing until I feel relief. I don't know why but it helps me out?

  1. That actually seems cool... I go take a nap. When I was young, my dad would get me in trouble for leaving my room a mess. He once yelled at me and I fell asleep. I think that somehow tears make me tired. If I don't sleep, then I normally go jogging. When I am angry, my adrenalin gets pumping and I jog faster. Hey, it's healthy and it relieves your stress!


  2. Personally , I watch movies. Movies help you because you forget about the outer world and think about the main plot of the movie. Hope this helped!

  3. Well I am calm most of the time, I don't even remember the last time I got angry. But when it happens, I calm down soon, without having to do much work. When I get sad and cry, I look at myself in the mirror and my tears stop by themselves as soon as I see myself. I guess I scare myself when I am crying.

    I've read before if you want to calm yourself you should do one of following...

    1- Breathing while closing my eyes.

    2- Exercising.

    3- Chocolate.  (weird I know)

    I am sure there are more ways, I just can't remember them all.

  5. i put my ipod on full blast and just lay in my bed until whenever i fall asleep.  

  6. close my eyes than take then inhale as much air as i can slowly.... hold for a couple seconds, the release slowly with my mouth.... or sometimes i like to yoyo....

  7. Go for a walk or ride a bike or go for a drive. In short, get away from where ever I'm feeling uncomfortable.

  8. when i feel like screaming or crying

    i grab my guitar and play a song

    it keeps my mind occupied and feels good and relaxing

  9. Meditating,or reading a good book,
