What are some ways you can bound with your horse?

Spending any amount of time with your horse is going to create a bond with it.  Some activities that will strengthen the bond between you and your horse are grooming and simply petting it, riding (obviously!), bringing your horse its favorite treats, training, and talk to your horse as much as you want! In my experience talking to the horse or singing quietly while grooming calms them and helps them to become very attached to you. I have also spent a few hours with the horse just rubbing them down with a cloth and telling them secrets. Also going for walks with both of you on the ground. The main thing is to impress upon the horse that your relationship is a friendship and that you are not always there to boss him/her around. Good luck
