What are some ways you guys assign first pick in a live draft. Coin flips, straws, rock-paper-scissors?

We have used choosing states that have a pick 3 lotto and using those results. Highest number picks first etc.

Although you could do like the other answerer stated. Let high number pick where they wanted to draft and go on down in order.

draw names in a hat or have  a royal rumble

We are in a 10 man league.  We draw cards ( ace thru 10 ) to determine draft order.  More cards for larger leagues.  If you do keeper leagues, you can go by finish place the next year.  Last place picks first, first place picks last.

We draw names out of a hat, and we let each person choose where on the board they would like to draft.

Not everyone likes going first overall.
