  2. http://www.debunkglobalwarming.info

  3. linlyons has listed a bunch of good ones.

Links that end with .com or .org are often nothing but some jokers personal opinion (so be cautious about those).  Stick with the .edu and .gov sites (in general, that is), then you're more likely to be reading something from actual Universities or Government labs that are active in scientific research.

linlyons - Love the link to "On Being Certain: Believing You Are Right Even When You're Not". That's so applicable around here :-)

  4. For scientific information I would look at scientific organization's web sites.

linlyons has almost all of the web sites I was thinking to post.  Do not go to think tank, political, or any other biased web site since they will not be objective.  Go to web sites that the experts have given credible information like the NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) or NASA.  If you get your information on web sites that are not objective (whether they are right, left, green, etc), you will not be getting the best information.  Go to the source of the information from the scientists, not the interpretation by ignorant people.

i find all the "I do my own research" folks interesting (deluded).

as if they're smarter than the PhDs that have been studying the climate for many years.

it used to, and still does, bother me that these people seem to really think that they know things.

    however, i found this interesting:

“Climate’s always been changing and it’s been changing rapidly at various times, and so something was making it change in the past,” he told us in an interview this past winter. “Before there were enough people to make any difference at all, two million years ago, nobody was changing the climate, yet the climate was changing, okay?”
